Weekly and Regular Events at Albany  Mennonite Church       Besides  Sunday morning Christian Education (9:30am) and Worship (10:40am) and the special events listed below, there are a variety of other activities that are a regular part of our church’s life together. Please join us for…       Mennonite  Youth Fellowship   We usually  meet every second and fourth Sunday afternoon from 5:00-9:00pm for food, Bible study, fellowship and Fun.  We also plan  "special" excursions throughout the year such as a snow trip, beach  trip, service/mission trip and/or attending church youth conferences.  Our  goal is to call young persons to faith and life in Jesus Christ, practicing  grace and providing adequate care, opportunity and encouragement along the  way.  And a great way to do that is to believe in each other.  For more information contact Jill Swiers  (541) 223-2878.       Thursday’s at Albany Mennonite   Seniors (and those who enjoy the company of our  vibrant elders) are invited to come to Albany Mennonite Church on Thursday mornings  from 9:00am-noon to walk “the track” around the new Fellowship Hall, play  shuffleboard, ping-pong, scrabble, cards, or build puzzles with coffee and  cookie in hand.  In addition… On the 1st Thursday of each month you are  welcome to join the Quilting group and help with their latest quilt and  comforter project (both men and women are welcome!)     On the 2nd and 4th Thursday  Pastor Matt will lead a bible study on the Book of Acts in the Fireside  Room from 10:30-11:30am. On the 3rd Thursday we will welcome  outside guests, hear travel stories, share hobbies and collections and plan an  occasional trip around Oregon.
